1. Contest Dates:

Video Entry Period: The Mission Federal Credit Union My Mission: My Video Contest (“Contest”) entry submission period begins 12:01: 00 a.m. Pacific Time (PT) on March 1, 2010 and ends 11:59:59 p.m. PT on April 30, 2010 (“Contest Period”).

Voting for Viewers’ Choice Period: Public voting begins May 3, 2010 12:00:00 a.m. PT and ends May 18, 2010 at 11:59:59 p.m. PT.

Judging Period: April 30, 2010 through May 18, 2010

Notification of Winners: On or before May 25, 2010

2. Sponsor: Mission Federal Credit Union (“Sponsor” or “Mission Fed”); 5785 Oberlin Drive; San Diego, CA 92121.

3. Eligibility: To enter, you (“Entrant”) must satisfy the following eligibility requirements as of the date of your entry into the Contest. You must be eligible for membership at Mission Fed. Eligibility requirements for Mission Fed are: you must live, work, or attend school in San Diego County. You must be age 18 or over. Employees of Mission Fed and their advertising agencies, and members of the immediate family of any such persons are not eligible to participate in the Contest. The term "immediate family" includes spouses, siblings, parents, children, grandparents, and grandchildren, whether as "in-laws," or by current or past marriage(s), remarriage(s), adoption, co-habitation or other family extension, and any other persons residing at the same household whether or not related. Proof of eligibility, including age and residency, may be required.

4. Requirements for Entries:

Video Entry Dates: The Contest entry period begins 12:01:00 a.m. PT on March 1, 2010 and ends 11:59:59 p.m. PT on April 30, 2010. All entries must be received by the Sponsor within this period to be eligible.

Video Requirements: What is your Mission? In the video, tell us what your mission in life is or what your mission is in the next 3 months, this year or more. Some examples may be to see your mom cry at your graduation, to write a song that everyone downloads, to make an Oscar-winning movie, to find a career that is fun and flexible, or to make the world a better place. Whatever your mission may be, portray it in a thirty (30) second video and be sure to incorporate the Mission Fed logo. The Mission Fed logo will be available for download on the Get Started page of the website http://www.missionfed.com/myvideo/get-started.

Technical Requirements: Video entries must first be uploaded to YouTube; therefore, the maximum video file size may not exceed 100MB. Refer to the YouTube Handbook for complete technical guidelines at http://www.youtube.com/t/yt_handbook_home.
Additional Requirements: The video must be thirty (30) seconds in length, including any tags, and must be primarily in English. Once you have uploaded your video to YouTube and registered your video in the Contest, your submission is final and may not be modified or edited. No submissions will be returned. If any group of individuals elects to collaborate on a submission, they are required to designate one (1) representative to enter the Contest and accept the prize on behalf of the group. The Sponsor is not liable for any disputes between collaborators related to a submission.
Submissions may not contain or refer to any company/brand logos or food and beverage brands other than Mission Federal Credit Union. Any elements in your video including, without limitation, music, audio, speech/voiceovers, stills, video, or other audiovisual materials, must be entirely original, created and performed by you or be in the public domain. Use of any elements, including, without limitation, music, audio, speech/voiceovers, videos, stills, visuals, or other materials, that are not original or in the public domain may result in disqualification of the video at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. All submissions will be reviewed before being published on Sponsor’s website and judged. Videos that do not comply with the YouTube Terms of Use or these Official Rules or that otherwise contain prohibited, inappropriate, or irrelevant content as determined by the Sponsor, in its sole discretion, will be disqualified and will not be considered for a prize.

Video may not contain, as determined by the Sponsor in its sole discretion, any content that is sexually explicit or suggestive; unnecessarily violent or derogatory of any ethnic, race, gender, religious, professional or age group; profane or pornographic; contains nudity; promotes alcohol, illegal drugs, tobacco, firearms/weapons (or the use of any of the foregoing) promotes any activities that may appear unsafe or dangerous; promotes any particular political agenda or message; is obscene or offensive; endorses any form of hate or hate groups; appears to duplicate any other submitted entries; defames, misrepresents or contains disparaging remarks about other people or companies; contains trademarks, logos, or trade dress (such as distinctive packaging or building exteriors/interiors) owned by others; contains any personal identification, such as license plate numbers, personal names, email addresses or street addresses; contains copyrighted materials owned by others (including photographs, sculptures, paintings, and other works of art or images published on or in websites, television, movies or other media); contains materials embodying the names, likenesses, voices, or other indicia identifying any person including, without limitation, celebrities and/or other public or private figures, living or dead; communicates messages or images inconsistent with the positive images and/or good will to which we wish to associate; and/or violates any law or any third party’s rights (including privacy and intellectual property rights.

Video must be the original work of the Entrant, may not have been previously published, may not have won any previous awards, and must not infringe upon copyrights, trademarks rights of privacy, publicity or other intellectual property (i.e. trademarks, trade names, logos, designs, web pages, etc.) or other rights of any person or entity. If the video contains any individuals other than the Entrant, Entrant further represents and warrants that the Entrant has obtained permission from each person whose name, image, likeness and/or voice (“Likeness”) is included in the video, and that such person(s) have granted Entrant all necessary rights to use the person’s Likeness as described in these rules, and that Entrant can make written copies of such permissions available to the Sponsor upon request. If the Likeness of a minor is included, such grants of rights must include written permission from the minor’s parents or legal guardian authorizing the use of the minor’s Likeness on behalf of the minor. Failure to provide such proof may, if requested, render the entry null and void. Sponsor’s determination as to whether the video potentially violates the rights of any third party is final.

By submitting a video, Entrant warrants and represents that they, and any persons appearing or who are identifiable in the Video, consent to the submission and use of the video in the Contest and to its use as otherwise set forth herein.

By submitting a video, Entrant hereby grants permission for the video to be posted on www.missionfed.com/myvideo and other Sponsor’s websites for viewing and voting. Entrant agrees that the Sponsor is not responsible for any unauthorized use of entries by third parties. The Sponsor does not guarantee the posting of any video on Sponsor’s website. By submitting a video, you grant Mission Federal Credit Union and all of its affiliates a worldwide, irrevocable, non-exclusive, assignable, transferable, unqualified, unrestricted, unconditional, unlimited, royalty-free, license for the use and exploitation of the video in any manner including, but not limited to the right to, publish, perform, display, scan, edit, crop, merge, resize, view, broadcast, distribute, reproduce, modify, translate, create derivative works and/or duplication of any part of the video, to incorporate it in other works, in any form, media, promotions, advertising, or technology now or later developed.

5. How to Enter: Create a video for Mission Federal Credit Union that is thirty (30) seconds in length. Enter your video by following the entry process below.

IMPORTANT: You must complete all of the following steps in order to ensure your video is submitted into the Contest:

a. Video Upload
i. Go to www.YouTube.com to upload your video. If your video was previously uploaded to YouTube.com, uploading again will not be necessary; simply proceed to Registration Instructions.
ii. You must have a YouTube account before a video can be submitted.
A. If you already have a YouTube account, simply sign in.
B. If you are not an existing user of YouTube, you will be required to complete the free registration process. Click “Create Account” and follow the instructions provided. When you activate your YouTube account, you will be required to agree to the YouTube Terms of Use and Privacy Policy and Google Terms of Service.
C. Once you are registered and logged in to YouTube, click on the “Upload” button in the upper right hand corner of the webpage and follow the instructions to upload your video. If you have questions on how to upload a video or are having problems with the upload process, please refer to the “Get Help” link.
D. Upon completion of the upload, tag the video with “MissionFedVideoContest”. Once the upload is completed, please make note of the video URL as you will need this information to register your entry with Mission Fed.

b. Mission Fed Video Registration
i. After uploading your video on YouTube, proceed to Mission Fed’s Video Contest Website at www.missionfed.com/myvideo (“Website”) to register your video for the Contest.
ii. Once on the Website, click on the Entry Form link and enter all the requested information. You will be asked to provide your contact information and the YouTube URL to your video.
iii. Complete the registration step by clicking the “Submit” button.
iv. If you do not complete the registration process, your video will not be submitted for review and possible inclusion into the Contest or eligible for a prize even though your video may be posted on YouTube. Registration must be completed by 11:59:59 p.m. PT on April 30, 2010 or your video will not be submitted into the review process for the Contest.

c. Confirmation of Entry
Once you click the “Submit” button, a pop-up window confirming that your registration has been received will appear. Your video will be reviewed to ensure that your Submission complies with these Official Rules.

Submissions that do not include all required information and do not adhere to the foregoing and following requirements will be considered void and will not be considered in the judging of this Contest. Each contestant is allowed unlimited entries into the Contest. The same video may not be registered for the Contest more than once.

6. Prizes: One (1) Grand Prize: $2,000 USD with the potential for the video to be used in a Mission Fed commercial to be aired in the local San Diego, CA market. One (1) Second Place Prize $750 USD. One (1) Viewers’ Choice Prize $250 USD. Only one video will be selected for the Grand Prize, Second Place Prize and Viewer’s Choice Award. If the Viewer’s Choice selection is the same as the Grand Prize or Second Place winner, that Entrant will be awarded both prizes. All winners will be responsible for all applicable taxes including federal, state, and local taxes. Mission Fed will report prize winnings to the appropriate state and federal agencies as required by law.

All winners will be notified by telephone and/or email. The winners will have fourteen (14) days from the date of notification to respond and return all required documents to the Sponsor. If a winner fails to respond or return the completed documents to the Sponsor within the required time frame, the winner’s status will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected. All winners are subject to verification, including, without limitation, verification of eligibility, compliance with these Official Rules, completion of all required documents including, but not limited to, Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release, Copyright Assignment and a Publicity Release, and a personal background check. Winners will also be required to obtain signed publicity releases from all identifiable individuals featured in the winner’s video. Notification of winner’s status must be kept confidential until the video is publicly revealed by the Sponsor. Entrants agree that the Sponsor has the sole right to decide all matters and disputes arising from this Contest and that all decisions of the Sponsor are final and binding.

7. Judging: After the video entry period has expired, all eligible entries will be uploaded to the My Mission: My Video Website at www.missionfed.com/myvideo for judging and public voting. All eligible videos will be judged as described below by a panel of Mission Fed judges. The judging period will be held from May 3-25.

Videos will be judged based on the following criteria:
a) Creativity and Originality (50 %)
b) Relativity to the Topic (25 %)
c) Effectiveness (25 %)

8. Public Voting: Public voting for the Viewer’s Choice Award begins May 3, 2010 at 12:00:00 a.m. PT and ends May 18, 2010 at 11:59:59 p.m. PT. Voting is open to the general public and there is a limit of one vote per person, per day. Public voting will only be for the Viewer’s Choice Award and the public is not eligible to participate in judging for the Grand Prize and Second Place winners. If the Sponsor determines that an individual has voted more than one time per day, the Sponsor may disqualify some or all of the individual’s votes at the Sponsor’s sole discretion. In the event of a tie for the Viewer’s Choice Award the tie breaking decision will be made by the Sponsor’s judges.

9. Limitation of Liability and Liability Release:
Limitation of Liability: Sponsor is not responsible for lost or late entries nor for electronic transmission errors resulting in omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of video materials, or for technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware or software malfunctions or limitations of any kind, or inaccurate transmissions of or failure to receive video information by Sponsor or presenter on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website or any combination thereof. If for any reason the Internet portion of the program is not capable of executing as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Contest, the Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest. Entrants assume all liability in connection with access to any Website related to this Contest. Mission Fed may amend the rules or discontinue the campaign at any time. Mission Fed disclaims any responsibility to notify participants of any aspects related to the contest.
CAUTION: Any attempt by an Entrant to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws, and, should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such Entrant to the fullest extent of the law. At the sole discretion of the Sponsor, if there is a dispute as to the identity of the Entrant the Sponsor may select an alternate winner.

Liability Release: By submitting an entry or accepting any prize, the winner agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Sponsor and/or any former or current employees, agents, attorneys, directors, officers, from any and all loses, damages, rights, claims, debts, demands, obligations, costs, fees, expenses, actions, cause of action and liabilities of any kind or nature whatsoever (including reasonable attorney’s fees and disbursements) arising out of or in any way related to the Contest, these Official Rules, Entrant’s video, the acceptance and use or misuse of any prize, any travel, any personal injuries, death, or any property damage. Further, by submitting a video and accepting any prize, all entrants agree to forever waive, release and discharge the Sponsor, of, for and from any and all claims, debts, liabilities, demands, obligations, costs, fees, expenses, actions and cause of action whatsoever, of every nature, character and description, known and unknown, including, but not limited to, all those arising out of or in any way related to the Contest, these Official Rules, entrant’s entry, the acceptance or use or misuse of any prize, entrant’s information, any travel, any personal injuries, any death, or any property damage. By submitting an entry, entrant represents and warrants that he or she owns and/or has the authority to release the claims stated herein.

Sponsor is not liable in the event that any portion of the Contest is cancelled due to weather, fire, strike, acts of war of terrorism, or any other condition beyond their control.

10. Law, Venue and Enforceability: All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or rights and obligations of the entrants and Sponsors in connection with the Contest, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California without giving reference to its conflict of laws, rules or provisions that would cause the application of the laws of any other jurisdiction other than the State of California. Venue for any dispute resolution will be San Diego, California.
The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, these rules shall otherwise remain in effect and be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were contained herein.
